I remember back when summers were totally carefree. No more school. No more late-night panic attacks over tests the next day. Just vacations, ice cream, concerts, swimming, amusement parks.
Now, summer’s just…another season. Another season to work. Another season to apply for more jobs. Another season to wish that life could just be carefree.
Maybe one day this summer, I’ll get a chance to feel carefree again. After all, I felt that way once. It’s possible to feel that way again.
